BIO
Anastasia began her dance journey at the age of nine with ballroom dancing in Helsinki, Finland, later expanding into ballet and folk dance with the ANIRI dance group. Years of intensive technical training laid the foundation for her distinctive teaching style. She discovered her passion for salsa in 2012 and has since continuously trained with some of the world’s most respected instructors, including Nerea Perez, Denisse Cambria, Ernesto Bulnes, Antonio and Jasmina Berardi, Myrto Misori, Panagiotis Aglamasis, Tania Cannarsa, Karel Flores, Griselle Ponce, Eddie Torres, Adolfo Indacochea, Bersy Cortez, Rodrigo Cortazar, Franklin Diaz, Delia Madera, and many others.
As a performer, Anastasia has appeared at leading European salsa festivals and congresses, including events in Finland, Germany, Sweden, Austria, Estonia, Greece, Belgium, Italy, and Spain. Her achievements include 3rd place at the Pasos Libres International Competition (Spain, 2014) and two silver medals at the Finnish National Salsa Championships.
In 2019, Anastasia founded her dance company in Munich, where she teaches weekly classes, coaches dancers of all levels, organizes social dance events, and directs performance teams. She leads ladies’ show team Ayaba Project, which regularly performs at local events and international festivals.
What sets Anastasia apart is her strong emphasis on technique. Drawing from over three decades of intensive training in ballroom, ballet, Latin dance, Afro-Cuban, jazz, and hip-hop—and continuous education with world-class salsa professionals—she helps dancers build a solid technical foundation before adding styling and expression. Her classes focus on posture, body movement, partner connection, musicality, and efficient movement mechanics, enabling students to dance with confidence, precision, and joy. Her mission is to create a welcoming environment where every dancer can develop lasting skills while enjoying the process of learning.
